Transporting Cakes With Pillars

Hi. I need some help. I have been askedto make a 2tier cake with pillars..prblem is -i'm not sure how to transport this cake..i wont be transporting it and i want it to get there in one piece.please help!!

I transport them separately and then set the upper tiers on the pillars when I arrive at the site.

a pillared cake is the easiest kind to transport... decorate and then take the teir off the pillars depending on what kind of pillars and your decorations decides if you take the pillar off or leave it there... stick in pilars leave in the cake.... pillars that go in between 2 plates you may want to remove and place when you get there.
