I've bought Satin Ice once, and used it right away. What's the shelf life like?
It might be worth it just to have around if it will last a few months.

Another question, what's the regular price?

the website says it lasts 6-12 months. i've never had any around that long so i don't know what its like after a year, but i've had some around for 3-4 months and it was perfectly fine. at my local store i can buy 2 lbs for $15 or 5 lbs for $23. on www.intotheoven.com the reg price for 20 lbs is $49.99.

i can't believe i missed their sale on the ivory! i'll have to keep my eyes open to see if it goes on sale again.
