I want to make some decorations for some wedding cookies I'm doing.

Just some little drop type flowers and hearts.

I use Antonia's icing to flood the cookies.

I am going to do these on wax paper and let them get hard to use on them.

Do I use Antonia's as is, or another recipe like the Wilton one.

I'm not sure.

Use Antonia's as is. You can use the Wilton one. I've never tried Antonia's (I want to....just haven't gotten around to it yet LOL), but her cookies are just flawless....so yeah.

Depending on the flower, you may want to thin it just a little to get the proper consistency.

I used Antonia's royal icing and I used Wilton's meringue powder for the mp part of the recipe. It works wonderfully! I think I made over 300 flowers and d they were great! Sturdy and actually taste pretty good, yet nothing like those things you buy from the stores on the cardboard cards.

Antopnia's all the way! Have fun. The drop flowers are beautiful and once you get the hang of it, there is no stopping you. And people think you spent ages on them. I just love the drop flowers. Try a bunch of different types of tips.
