Ok....so I need to make my sister-in-law a cake for her "reception". They got married in Vegas and are having a party to commemerate the event. The only thing she told me is that she bought yellow tableclothes...and asked if it could be "Vegasy". It's not a real fancy party...outdoors (85-90 degrees)...kids, pool...kind of like a BBQ. I don't have a lot of time and I don't do much work with fondant. I'm good at freehand drawing and detail work though. Any ideas??

I recently celebrated an anniversary in Las Vegas; didn't make my own cake since I live in NYC, but I used freedsbakery.com and they have some great photos on their site to use as ideas. They made me a small sheet cake with fondant gaming chips (see pic). You could use chips and cards as a subtle theme for Vegas (since the reception is really about the wedding!).
