Ok, Sorry if I missed anyone elses post about this, I can't imagine anyone NOT posting,BUT.... That soccer cake was the UGLIEST cake ever!!!! It should be posted into our "show us your worst cake " thread!
I'll admit this is just my oponion, but please!!!!!!!
Anyone else watch?
Am I wrong?

there was already a thread about food networks birthday cake challange....and everybody had mentioned that soccer cake was very scary! icon_mad.gif

I totally agree she had the worst luck ever.The guy that did the cake with the sugar bird his assistant was horrible he would have done better with someone from CC

I have to say that I'm glad they didn't go with
the well well known cake decorators. Was
familiar with the lady from SD.
Some stuck with what the kid wanted, but some
didn't know what to give him. I would love
to do a CC challenage.

I watched that last night, and my husband and son said that I make better cakes than these people did! I couldn't stop laughing at the lady that put the head on the boy backwards and didn't even notice!!! icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

Thats what I like about those shows even the best have their bad days we are all human.

I agree they are people just like us after all. How hard it must be to create a design and put together that cake in the time frames they get,. And doing all of those with cameras in their face and an audience watching.

I agree entirely. I can't imagine having to come up with a design and create it in six hours time, especially with a studio audience and cameras in my face. I don't even like having my kids watch me decorate!!
