Hiya!
I have to make a fondant covered cake for a wilton class, But I don't want to use their packaged fondant bcuz it tastes awful thumbsdown.gif . I need an easy recipe as I don't have much time to make fondant. I tried a Marshmallow Fluff recipe, but it wasn't very smooth. Somebody! Help meeeeee! icon_cry.gif

Did you try the Easy Marshmallow Fondant recipe from the recipe section? that one usually is always real smooth, if not, can you go buy a tub of satin ice to take to class? It is sooo smooth and soooo easy to work with. Good luck!!

I have made Rhonda's Ultimate MMF before and it works fine and tastes better than Wilton (though the bottom of my shoe tastes better that Wilton too.. icon_wink.gif ). It's easy to make, just make sure you don't add all of the powdered sugar at once at the end.. you'll need to knead it in until it feels right. And it is important to let it sit overnight before you use it so it can homogenize.

I made a batch of "Rhonda's Ultimate MMF" a couple of weeks ago that turned out really well. It was nice & smooth & easy to work with. You have to leave it in the fridge overnight. I don't know how much time you have. I had to add more sugar to make it stiff because it was quite humid when I made it. If you search the "recipe" section you should be able to find it.
