Hi pimples25

I use Sugar syrup (1 part sugar 1 part water-boiled slowly) to moisten my cakes. After cake is baked and straight out of the oven drizzle (or pour- depends how soggy you like your cake to be icon_smile.gif ) sugar syrup over it. Fantastic to cover up slightly over cooked cakes. I flavour my syrups with liquer to give oomph!! to cakes. My (adult) clients love it!! You can also use sugar syrup in drinks to sweeten them... great for cocktail drinks. Or pickle vegetables (like cucumbers, bitter melon(gourd)) in them to serve as a relish with your meals.

Hope that helps.
