Satin Icing

I have always made buttercream icing, but I was in kroger and I saw they iced there cakes with satin icing. What is satin icing and is it any good. Any recipe. icon_biggrin.gif

Are you talking about the satin fondant icing? I have never tried it, but I just ordered some. I'm hoping that it tastes better than the wilton fondant, and is easier to handle. I think that Satin icing isn't a recipe it is a brand name. Anybody in this forum can correct me if I am wrong, because I am not 100% sure.

I saw in the recipes a satin icing, has anyone ever used it. If so can you decorate with it.
