I just want get this out of my chest!!! 
I while ago I delivered my very first wedding cake. It was a great feeling to look at it safe over that table at the wedding reception. I was worried about everysingle thing..... the baking, the stacking, the dowels.... driving with such precious cargo on the back of the car........
Call me crazy if you want, but I won't change for anything the moment when you put the final touches to the cake, then back up and just look at it. It is like adrenaline running through your veins.( Yeah, yeah !!! I know, I am kinda exagerated!)
Do you feel those butterflies in your stomach when you finish a cake? or is just me ???

That's your first wedding cake. Wow...it is beautiful. I too am glad its all over once the cakes are delivered and setup. I felt relieved when I delivered my large petit four order yesterday. When I pulled off with check in hand I began to smile and thank God for the opportunity with no issues.

The delivery of a beautiful always gives me a rush - I keep thinking about how great it feels to step back when it is finished....That's what keeps me going when I am frustrated throught out the whole process of baking and decorating a cake.

AWSOME CAKE! You should be so proud! I wish my first had looked that good! You have a very clean, beautiful style. And, to answer your question? YES! I get VERY nervous about transporting, delivering EVERY cake. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who stresses over that!
I keep thinking with time and experience, I'll get better.

I remember the day the bride first call me to see if I could make her wedding cake. That was like 5 months ago... and I just had finished wilton course #1 at that time.
I kept thinking........ what did i get into? How am i going to do a wedding cake?
After this experience I fully respect all the people that make wedding cakes on a regular basis...... It is an awesome job with a great responsability...
Yes, I have always felt that way when I deliver a cake. Plus I am always still worried until someone from the family sees the cake, and gives their reaction. Then comes the feeling of relief, and Pride!
