There is a tutorial in the articles section that shows adding flowers to the sides of cakes by using a toothpick.

Maybe you could try a dap of BC to attach them?

I'm working on fondant roses as we speak. I'm thinking it's too late to add a toothpick since yours are already dry and hard.

My best guess would be to use a thick royal to adhere to the fondant. A buttercream would be too soft and not dry quick enough. Royal is your best bet!

Good luck!

I have had success with attaching the fondant roses to toothpicks using melted chocolate.

I must have been half asleep when i answered this post!!! I thought they were buttercream roses!!!
SORRY!! I use melted fondant to stick fondant roses to the side of a cake.
You grab some fondant, and cut it in pieces and ad a bit of water and make it into something that resembles chewing gum, this sticks great!!!
I have never tried it on Wilton fondant, let me know if it works.
I did this cake that way

The best way I know to attach fondant flowers is to use wire - heat up the end over a candle - then carefully thread into the flower... the heat melts the fondant/sugarpaste and the fixture is very strong. You need to wait until the flower is totally dry before doing it this way.

Hope this helps.
