After you roll the rolling pin on your fondant do you flip the fondant over and display that side or do you fill in the ruts with icing so that you are using the pin as a tracer? I am confused.

I didn't realize the idea was to actually pipe the cornelli lace, I thought it was to avoid piping at all. icon_redface.gif

That's what I'm asking. Do I pipe over the design or do I reverse the fondant?

As far as i can see on this example, the lace is raised already. You just lay that fondant on your cake with the textured side facing up.
