Does anyone have and idea how to make a "christmas tree" out of fondant that will stand upright on a cake? I need it to be all edible - short of covering a cone, I don't know of any other way. Would like it to be a realistic to a spruce/pine as possible.

Thansk for any help!

Why not bake the wilton 3D Candelit cake and cover it in fondant...You can find the pan on Ebay all the time!!

I do mine completely out of fondant. You make a green fondant cone shape and with small scissors snip all the way around from bottom to top and voila...fir tree!
