In making Antonia's royal icing, which everyone here seems to love and since i trust you all so much, i am going to try - the recipe calls for using a paddle attachment for mixing. I do not have a paddle attachment - will the recipe not work if you don't use the paddle attachment??

it'll work........I don't have a paddle either.....i just did it with regular ol' beaters.

I haven't tried it yet but in the intro to the recipe she says if you store it in an airtight container at room temp, it lasts for weeks.
