Has Anyone Ever Wholesale Cheesecakes???

i have a friend who owns a bakery, i am home based, and they want to by some cheese cakes from me to sale in their store... it cost me like $13 to make a 9" new York style cheesecake....... I know that they are in a small town and i don't think they'd be getting $40 for someone to buy a cheese cake... so i have a hard time deciding what to change them.
any advice would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
I do wholesale cheesecakes and charge between $20 and $24 each depending on cheesecake and amount of items ordered. But, my costs for each cheesecake are between $5 and $8. I buy Philadelphia brand cream cheese from SAMS ($5 to $6 for 3#) heavy cream from Sams ($3-$4 per quart) and make my own shortbread type crusts. Also get vanilla from Sams ($6 for pint of real vanilla). Basically I get everything that I can from Sams and the rest from Wal-Mart. I buy my cardboards and boxes by the case. To me, cheesecakes are something you have to sell a lot of to make a decent profit considering the time involved.
I too struggled with wholesale, and I decided to stick to special orders. I'm homebased and have just begun, but have a couple of good clients already and am trying to expand. It's just too much work, in my eyes to stick with such a small profit.
Good Luck!
