I'd try starting with a nice bright yellow, and add very small amounts at a time of kelly green or a lighter green until you get the color you are after.

Hi - I just went through this and I used the Wilton colors - Teal and Lemon Yellow - it came out wonderful. Good luck!

I used Lemon Yellow and Leaf green to get the lime green for last year's Halloween cake.

I haven't done it but someone yesterday had a gorgeous lime green and said she used Electric Green from Americolor (and had actually ordered it on CC's website).
