I think I've got a decent wedding cake pricing guide going, but can someone take a look and offer some advice? I'm in Canada, so an average 6-10" B/C cake cost about 8$ and a B/C with Fondant is about 12$ ..plus all the other accessories. Here goes:

1 Tier

Little $50
Moderate $75
Difficult $100

2 Tiers

Hmmm.. well I think you'll get into trouble with that pricing system. What if someone wants a 3 tiered cake that's 18-14-10 or 8-6-4.. the same price?? Either the larger cake will be a STEAL or the little cake will be over priced.. I think your best bet is to come up with a price per serving or at least a price per size of the tier. I have it priced per serving. Find a serving size you like and stick with it. I know if I was ordering a 8-6-4 three tiered cake.. and I found out it cost the same for an 18-14-10.. I'd be one angry cake buyer.. icon_biggrin.gif
