How do you get true green like Crayon green out of the Wilton leaf green? The colot that comes out of that little jar is just not green enough for me.

Sometimes you have to add a lot.

They also have a forest green, which is a little bit darker.

Or...try adding a LITTLE brown or black to see if it darkens.

I like to use Wilton's Moss green, it seems to be a true leaf green than WLG.

Kelly green is nice too........that's the green I used for my racetrack cupcakes.........it's like a grass green.

Wilton's kelly green comes out closer to that green you are looking for. Leaf green will not get there - no matter how much you add.

I use the Americolor....it ALWAYS gives a true color, deep and rich, unlike the Wilton. I stopped trying to get the Wilton colors to make the color right.
