Can someone tell me how to make the ice in the beer bottle bucket or where can I find the instructions. I've read the directions that were posted by Sweet Results for making the beer bottles but I don't think she mentioned about the ice in that thread.

TIA,
Cynita

On the link you gave she said the ice is made from sugar? Maybe sugar cubes?????????????????????????????? I did see somewhere real small square ice cube trays you could use that jello recipe for the jigglers and keep it clear. It would look like an ice cube.

You may have already gotten the answer to this, but it looks like within that posting that she explained a little about the ice:

SweetResults says:
The ice is just the same sugar mixture cooked a little less time so it is still clear, then poured out onto foil and crushed up once it is cool.

Thanks Sassy, I must've read right pass that, also, thanks Debster I remember reading somewhere about the jello but I wasn't sure if it was the jello that was used to make the ice.

Thanks.

I read under one of the gallery pictures for a cake where someone used the jello that the bottles started to melt from the moisture and was leaving a brown ooze. Sounds like the method desctibed by SweetResults is probably better. Though you could probably pour the sugar into the ice cube trays.

If you have access to rock sugar, it'd prob have almost the same effect, and would much simpler!

It's available around here completely clear.
