I have a wedding cake due tomorrow and my fondant flowers are not dry yet !!! If I put a fan, do you think it will hepl ??? icon_cool.gif

Or do you have any other suggestion ??? There is no sun here, so I can not put them beside a windows !!

did you already make them all???If not you could add gumpaste to the fondant and they will dry in less than an hour usually.

All is done !!! Ready to put on cake after drying .......

Are they MMF?

If there are NOT MMF...you might be able to place them in the oven at about 125 degrees to try to dry them out. I would test it on one before placing them all in the oven.

Oh yeah !!! I go and try it right now !!!

If I put a piece in a cake pan it will be ok ??

I'd pick them up very carefully with a pallette knife and place them on the cake. They can dry on the cake. I'm assuming they're not wired.

Absolutely ! They are not wired

If they are not dry tomorrow morning, I will put them on cake like that. But I have an other question, if they are not dry, and I put them on the cake like that, what will happen in the car ??? I have about 15-20 min or road to do with this ... icon_rolleyes.gif

make sure to cover your light in your oven if you have one.......it can make them turn weird colors or just fade the color.......assuming they ARE colored.

I've heard just a fan with cool air will help them dry quickly.

Thanks everybody !!

I have decided to put on the fan until the dinner tonignt ... After this I will check and if it is not enough dry, I will put them in the oven.
