Hi CC getting to ready to make ganache icing do i need to refrigerate once the cake is ice..if not how long can i let this stay out. it is due 2morrow...thanks

you can refrigerate it....but it's not totally necessary. I always refrigerate all my cakes for orders, but they all need to be room temp to be eaten.

I never refrigerate ganache or cakes that are iced in ganache. The only reason you'd need to refrigerate your cake is if it is filled with a filling that needs to be refrigerated. icon_smile.gif

nope you dont need to refrigerate ganache. It should stay good for 2-3 days at room temp. I like it better out of the fridge anyway because it gets kinda hard when cold.
