I have couple charts for 2 layer servings for rounds and sheet cakes...but I want to see what anyone else has for servings as they seem a bit off to me.

6"
8"
9"
10"
12"
1/4 Sheet
1/2 Sheet

can anyone tell me what their experiences are?
Thanks!
Michelle

Thanks for asking this question and here's a *bump* for you.

I'm wondering if a double layer 1/4 sheet will feed 30-40 people.

Since most people figure that a 1/2 sheet feeds about 50 then I would think that would more than feed the 30-40. It's the same amount of cake after all, just presented in a slightly different way.

I have reservations about the 1/4 sheet feeding 30-40...in my experience, it is about 25-30.
