In The Middle Of This Cake Please Help!!!!

This will be a wedding cake. There is another tier and on top of it will be a "beach scene'. My question. Do you think I should do the palm trees all around the cake, maybe 3 or is it fine to leave it just in the front. There will also be shells and sand around each tier. Maybe some flowers, not sure yet. Thanks so much!!

My vote is for more palm trees - and yes 3 would be a good number. The cake looks great, I can't wait to see the finished product.

birds -- where's the birds flying in the sky?

another tree or so on each wouldn't hurt.

Do you know how it's going to sit in the reception? If it's going to be in the middle of the room, maybe duplicate the trees on the opposing sides of each tier?

If you know it will be against a wall, don't add more.

But if you don't know, I guess add the trees on the other side.

I don't think flowers unless they are tropical, maybe a very few strategically placed orchids, otherwise I think stick to the shells and sand. The design as it is is simple and beautiful! Nice cake!

Thx all. I don't know how it is going to sit so i'll add more trees and ok a bird or 2. No floweres? No problem!! icon_biggrin.gif .

I can't wait to see the finished product myself !

You can never have too many trees. icon_lol.gif A couple more would be nice. Or leave the one in the middle on the bottom and add two on the sides for the next tier and so forth. Just an idea. Looks GREAT!!!!!!!
