Hi...
Has anyone ever made a 3-D martini glass (cosmo drink) and an emerald diamond platinum ring with baguettes (side stones)? If so, please email me instructions to ([email protected]) or reply to this post. I will need this information as soon as possible. The cake is due next Saturday.

I've seen some pics in the gallery of cakes that are inside of a giant glass. I think you can buy them at Michael's or other craft stores. Line the inside of your glass with frosting or maybe filling, then shape your cakes and plunk them in, cover with more frosting or filling.
How big of a ring are you talking about making? I'd just make it out of fondant or gumpaste, then use pixie dust on the diamond part and gold luster dust on the ring.
Thank you all for the valuable information...I think I am going to make the ring with fondant/gumpaste (or maybe get one of those kid's ring pop candy). As for the glass, I think I am going to place a plastic one on top of the cake and place the ring somewhere near...I'll see????
