I am new here and I am sure this has been asked and answered often. I wanted some instructions on the book cakes. I found wonderful pictures but couldn't seem to find many instructions. Thanks

I know they sell a book pan (wilton does) but I never could find it in stores, guess you have to buy it online...

Are you talking about making an open book cake? Wilton has (or at least, had) two sizes of open-book cake pans, a one-mix and a two-mix. You bake them like a regular sheet cake. They're great for scrapbook parties!

I was wondering more about the closed books like the stacked ones and the Bible ones. I actually have the Wilton pan and it is nice for an open book.

oh...I just saw one of those cakes not that long ago (i think it was a graduation cake) I will look and see if I can find in the gallery...

if I do I would suggest private messaging the person who made the cake

let me see if I find it.

Maybe you could get some ideas from the tutorial on the sculpted owl cake? It's sitting on some closed books.
