I think what would really impress him is if you can log his character in(yes I play a game very similar to this lol) and take a picture of his toon and have that for the monitor pic. Can maybe get an edible image done in town somewhere. I know with the game I play I can take a screen shot and it is saved to my computer, but not sure if WoW has that and what button to push for it. Just a thought=) Jen
My boyfriend and most of his friend (mid -30s at that) play WoW for hours on end so I totally get it!
A computer with a screen shot is perfect, but the guys when asked had tons of other suggestions for WoW"
This is what they came up with (possible other ideas I'm just throwing out there for future reference.):
"A castle or fortress with an army of orcs on wolfs and elves on tigers and a few "squishy" gnomes. And a dragon."
If you can mold 3D gumpaste / fondant characters - make one his character and a bunch of misc characters and place around a fortress.
Or a 3D cake designed as his character.
or:
you can either
"- go with a familiar story char in wow
- a famous landmark
- a char of the cake recepient"
Here is a link to an amazing WoW cake:

Also some websites to check out for images if you can't get on to his character:

www.allakhazam.com
www.thottbot.com
Wow also has a full screen option to make screen shots, but I'm not sure of the key stroke
Have fun with this, I can't wait to see photos!!

Everquest fan by any chance? ![]()
To get a screen shot, you hit "shift" + "prtscn" button. Then you can paste it like a normal cut/copy function with "ctrl" + "P" or just right-click then select "paste." This is how it works on my PC. If you were referring to the key stroke of making the WoW image full size, then my apologies. ![]()
LOL, yup I was referring to a special key stroke in the WoW game;
but you did teach me something new ![]()

ya know, I always thought the screen capture in windows was alt-prtscn. And sure enough, testing it out, it is shift-prtscn! Shows how often I use that feature! ![]()
