Why Is This Book So Expensive? What Am I Missing?

I was searching around half.com and came across this book by colette peters and was amazed by the asking price!! what am i missing? is this a must have book? a rare book?

It had to be a typo....probably 29.95 was the price and someone put the decimal in the wrong spot. She is good but not 295 dollars good.... icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

No, I actually think that price is right! I think the book is no longer being printed, so that is why it is so valuable! I saw it on ebay a while back and it was going for around $200 bucks, crazy, I know!

I think that website must have it wrong... i found it on best web buys for $24.95... someone must have missed the decimal place I think!!

I was thinking it might be a missed deimal but there were 4 others listed ranging from 99.95 to 295.00......i just can't believe it is that Great of a book!!!lol lol....

Is this the one with the chocolate ornaments on the cover? I found a hardcover book entitled Colette's Christmas cakes, cookie, pies, etc...but it has a photo of a Christmas cake on the front cover.

Sometimes out of print books or first edition books can go for big bucks. May be the case for this one?

Amazon has this book (the hardcover), I think it's used, but it's only $48.88. They have some others of hers, too....check them out!
