Has anyone done any Boy Scout related cookies--specifically badges but anything else too? Would you mind sharing ideas or photos?
I wanted to do something special when my twins earned their Eagle. I made drawings of the merit badges and sized them so they would fit on an Oreo. I then reversed the drawing because I used melted CandyMelts in a decorating bag (I think I used a #2 tip, and possibly #1 as well) to pipe over the designs. Once hardened, I turned them over and stuck them to chocolate chovered Oreos. I don't have any pictures to post (I'm still learning how to post, and this was before I had access to a digital camera). I did about 80 of these, and they took a very long time to do! But they disappeared almost immediately at the Court of Honor. I've also done simple fleur de lis from candy molds that I then stuck to chocolate covered Oreos. I saw some eagle sugar cookies that were very nice...they were iced in red, white and blue and the icing was marbelized. Simple, but pretty.
I did (and redid whole other post where i had to resurrect this cake that shifted in transit) this cake for my cousin's eagle scout ceremony last fall.

I made the eagle topper from MMF and painted with silver dust but the badges I just printed out on photo paper and attached them to skewers. Here is the link to the badges:

As for cookies, I have a fleur de lis cookie cutter but they also sell the eagle scout cookie cutter at our local army supply store, I'm sure if you checked online you could find it also.
Here is the cake I did.
