I am making petit fours for my sisters baby shower this weekend. We sent out a lot of invitations, but we know that there are a bunch of people on vacation this weekend and won't be able to come. I am making enough for a big crowd, but If we don't get a big crowd and I have some left over, can I freeze them for a later time? I froze them before cutting them out, but I don't know if I can freeze them after they are iced and decorated. If I can freeze them, how should I do it? I never freeze anything.

yes! you can. I did this at Christmas.

I didn't put much time to packaging them for freezing, and threw them in cardboard boxes. They dried out a tiny bit.

I suggest letting the icing set up first, then freeze them in air-tight packaging.

As long as they come back to room temp before serving, they will taste just perfect.
