I am a newbie that has taken all of the wilton classes here in Hawaii and would like to learn more. Is there anyone in Hawaii that knows how to make gumpaste flowers, fondant and other things like people? I would love to learn more. I have all of the supplies or would be able to supply them if I don't have them. This website is great with so many talented people and if I am half as good as all of you it would be great. Any suggestions????

Welcome to CC!! I checked online and couldn't find anything for Cake Decorating classes in Oahu. My only suggestion is the Michael's store around here has a Polymer clay class. You could try that to get an idea how to shape clay, then move on to Fondant from there. It might give you some tips to work with. HTH!

I was trying to find a gumpaste classes here too. I have found any and I bought some Rosemary Watson videos and converted them to DVD. I want to try to make gumpaste, but I'm afraid about the humidity here.

Not that it's any help but I'm really excited to be vacationing in your area in a few weeks!
