Has anybody noticed that white Satin Ice is not really white when it drys a little, it is more of an off white or creamy color, almost ivory? What do you do or use if you want a bright white fondant? Do you use Choco Pan? Or do you put something in your Satin Ice to brighten it?

thanks,

pat

I make my own so that I can make it bright white. I did read somewhere here that adding a very tiny bit of violet or blue to help make it whiter. See if that will help it out.

Americolour and Wilton too make Bright White which is Titanium Dioxide...you can add a few drops of that to your fondant to make it whiter
