I was just wondering if that is possible? Does anyone have directions on how to make a "simple" cake purse? I say simple because I am not very talented at this yet. My 2 sisters are coming in for a visit and we only see each other twice a year, I thought it would be cute to make a real girly cake. Thanks!

First of all don't underestimate yourself. Lots of talented creations in your photo album!
* Bake 1 layer 8" or 9" cake. Cut in 1/2 then "sandwhich" together and set up on end.
* Decorate with either fondant or buttercream. Very simple!!
I have one in my photos for my little girl.
Hope that helps & you have a great visit!!
