I was thinking I would like to make a butterscoth and/or carmel filling. The only problem is that I don't eat butterscoth, I was thinking it needed to go into maybe a yellow cake, but what type of frosting? Maybe cream cheese?

I bought topping nuts to go with the carmel, which I'm not sure about how I'm going to make? Once again, yellow cake? Frosting...cream cheese???

Thanks, Katie icon_biggrin.gif

Oooh....I like Doug's idea! I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. CC- let me know when you're done, and I'll come sample! icon_biggrin.gif

I think you are on the right track with using a yellow cake for it - even a white cake would be okay with it too. I'm not sure about adding the caramel in to a cream cheese frosting though - you might not get the desired taste. OR - it could be a happy accident. It's always worth it to try it once, right?
