I got my gold dragees in the mail today! WOOHOO!!! All 2 lbs!!!!!!!!

Man these things are like treasure. They sure are nothing like the "gold" ones that are in the multi-colored dragees.

These things are like "gold" to me! I'm so excited. I haven't seen these since I was knee high to an ant hill!!!

YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!

Okay Amy, calm down! Breathe 1.....2.....3....

LOL Congratulations. After reading that I think I might have to order some for myself, it's been a while since I jumped up and down over something in the mail.

How fun!! : ) Where did you order from? Are they edible or those rock hard ones you break a tooth on?

Very cool. : )

I bought them from a gal on ebay! Her store is Simply Sweet Supplies. I emailed her asking if she sold them in larger quantities than 4 oz. She buys them in 2 lb bottles for $34.00! That is the cheapest I found in doing research! They are the for decoration only but who's going to consume 2 lbs all at once!!! I just ate one and my teeth are still in tact. It's almost hollow in the way it chewed up.

I'll be using them on a cake I have to do for this Friday!

I'm going to be trying yet another new border technique this one involving string work on a sheet cake!
