Hello! I am about to make a shopping bag cake standing up. My questions is, do I have to put cake boards and dowel if I am just cutting a 9 x 13 x 2 into thirds? I know I have to dowel to keep it upright, but how many dowels should I put in it for that? Thanks!

Thanks a bunch Doug! Do I need a cake board in between the layers? Or will it be fine stacked all three together?
