Hi everyone, I am making a mickey mouse cake for my son and need tips in acheiving black royal icing and black buttercream that is truely black and still tasty. Any and All tips and receipes appreciated!

The best tip I've ever found for black bc is to start with chocolate base, then add black. I use the Hershey's Special Dark Cocoa in my bc to start with, it doesn't take much black food color to make the bc black.
