Can I add a flavored syrup or sauce to my buttercream in place of water or milk?

Thanks

Yes - I do it all the time for variety and taste (e.g. hershey's syrup, coffee creamers, etc...). You just need to watch your consistency. Have fun!

i haven't tried it yet, but i have seen some people say that they sometimes add LorAnn Oils for different flavors. But then whatever color your LorAnn oil is, then that takes an effect on the color of your frosting...not a big effect b/c you only use a few drops...but still
