I'm pretty sure all the experts are SICK and tired of pricing/size/serving questions and I've read I think every post on here today about pricing, tiers, size per servring, etc......

Help....I have to make a tiered cake for 60 people, round cake

Can I do a 2 layer 8 inch and a 2 layer 10 inch and be ok??

I'm so overwhelmed with deciding on all of this and need to get a cake done, can I go with general consensus here??

Thanks,,,,,if I could hug you all I would!! I could use one right now icon_sad.gif

from the Wilton serving (wedding) guide the 8" and 10" cakes should yeild 62 servings. However, these are the smaller 1x2 pieces of cake. If this is somewhere that they are going to want a slab of cake than I would make it a little larger.

Best wishes (((big hug)))

I agree with making it a little larger. If you go by the Wilton party size servings, the 10" and 8" serve only 48. You could go 12 and 8 for 60 party-size servings or 12 and 10 for 68. I guess it depends on the the function and how large the servings will be. Personally, I'd always rather have a few extra slices than not enough. HTH. Good luck! icon_smile.gif
