Hello all! I am making my first large (200 serving) cake and I need to know what to put it on. I usually just do small birthday or shower cakes that work well on the Wilton boards. I know this full sheet base plus two other layers will need a lot of support. I am making it all one flavor so do I need to use cardboard to seperate each layer or can I just stack cake on cake? I would appreciate all your advice because this is due this Friday!
If you're doing a stacked cake you need to put cardboard under each layer that you are stacking and don't forget to put dowels under each stacked layer.

Your bottom layer is gonna need to take a lot of weight, so your bottom board will need to be make real sturdy. If your bottom layer is a full sheet, you will need to put at least 3 layers of cardboard taped together or use 1/4 inch ply-board. Either way they will need to be covered. I use 1/4 inch ply-board. I really don't know if full sheet cake boards are sold.
You need support for the other cakes. Boards that fit the cake with dowel supports underneith. If you don't, your cake will collapse under the weight.
You can buy full sheet boards, but maybe only from bakery suppliers. When I do a full sheet cake I use 2 boards taped together, but since you are putting more cake on top I would go the plywood route. You will need to support the cakes on top. You will also need help to carry it as it will be very heavy.
