Ok, silly question, but what are the measurements for a sheet cake and a half sheet cake?

yeah there was just a thread about this the other day...and I walked away more confused than ever...looks like some use the 11X15 as half sheet and others use the 12X18 (or whatever that size is)....I always assumed it was 11X15 but I dont sell cakes.

You will get many answers to this...it all depends on factors such as location, etc.

For me, a 9 x 13 is a 1/4 sheet.
Two 9 x 13's are a 1/2 sheet.
Four 9 x 13's are a full sheet.

Good Luck to you and welcome to CC!!

I always thought that the 11 x 15 was the half slab. MMDD - How many servings are you getting outta 4 - 9 x 13 cakes?

So then the half sheet is the 13x9 put together so it's really 26 inches long or is it the other way: 18x13.

Four 9 x 13's = 1 whole sheet ( in my neck of the woods, lol) and that's basically an 18x26....so thats about 96 servings.

My half ( two 9x13) is 18x13 and that's 48 servings.

It works for me, so that's what I use.

Another reason I like to use the 9 x13 is b/c it's so easy to make a cake different flavors.

I put a very thing "coat" of bc between them, just to be safe so they won't slip/slide.

Good luck to you and let us see that cake!!!!
