I posted here a couple of weeks ago about interviewing for a job and I just wanted to let you all know that I GOT IT!!! I start on the 25th of September (which is also my first night back in school!) 
I hope my mom can handle my children as it will also be their first day at school/daycare!!! 
The other news that I wanted to share is that while I was over at my friends house last night working on her wedding invitation envelopes we got to talking about her cake (she is having a cupcake cake) and she mentioned that her mom asked her about having a grooms cake. She mentioned not knowing what a grooms cake was (I explained) and then she asked me if I would want to make the grooms cake for the rehearsal dinner!!! 
I of course said yes (it will be a smaller cake for only about 20 ppl)! She is going to send me pictures soon (I told her to keep it simple!!). At any rate, she is my best friend and I love her and I am just too excited to be able to make her grooms cake. I should mention that I am also in the bridal party, but I don't think making the cake will be a problem since it is small and not the actual wedding day cake. 
I just had to share my news!

Congratulations on the new job. I remember your post about the interviews, and how unsure you were. I looked at your photos and can clearly see why you would be a wonderful addition to any bakery. I hope you are able to enjoy the work. Good luck at balancing family, school and a new job.
