Chocolate Marshmallow Fondant - Recipe

The one I use is from this site. For a large batch, you put a whole bag of mini marshmallows into a bowl and add 2 tablespoons of flavoring. Put in the microwave and melt slowly (15-20 sec. at a time). Then take it out and stir in powdered sugar until no longer sticky. Take out of the bowl and knead. I'm not sure how you would do chocolate mmf. You might could try adding cocoa powder to the recipe and see if that works. Good luck.
Isn't it the recipe called choco-pan? I think that is what I have seen people use and they say it tastes good......
I make chocolate MMF all the time. I add one square of unsweetened melted chocolate to the soupy MMF mixture. Just one square does the trick! If you want to make a lot of black, this is the time to add in the color - just stir it in before you add the powdered sugar. It's a lot faster than kneading it in later and a lot easier on your hands! I've heard of people adding cocoa and having mixed results with MMF - some love it, some say it makes it dry, but I've never tried it cuz I've had good luck with the unsweetened chocolate. If it doesn't make it dark enough for you, try adding some brown color to it. Americolor makes one that's even called chocolate brown. When I make chocolate buttercream, I add the unsweetened chocolate but it only makes it a light brown, so then I add in Hershey's Special Dark cocoa and it's SO dark and fudgy looking and SOOO yummy. I would imagine you'd have the same results with fondant but I haven't tried - so I can't say for sure!
Good luck!
