Hi all. Wondered if anyone else has had this problem. I have been using the same cake mix for quite a long time. It is from a distributer called Dawn. I have recently noticed that when I make a white cake it shrinks terribly icon_sad.gif . Has this happened to you? If so did you find a way to make it stop.

Any help would be great.

I've had problems with shrinking scratch cakes, while they are cooling. IT's happened a few times, and I dont' know why!

I guess that's not much help, but perhaps it has something to do with the ingredients outside of the mix - eggs or whatnot? Since it happens with mixes and scratch recipes?
