I am doing a cake for a reception where the couple were married out of town. They have requested a sheet cake with a horse or horse shoe related theme. Any ideas?!?

how about a cake that is oval shape like a race track, you can make a couple of horses out of cookies on a stick or just gum paste and put them like they are in a race. don't forget to make a finish line. oh yeah, make the railings of the track out of stick pretzels. i tried to attach a picture of my 1st race track cake, this is a very primative cake i once did. if you don't get the picture and would like to see it, i'll email it to you. good luck icon_smile.gif

I have a few horse cakes in my photos. I have one that has yellow rose winner drape that might be what you are looking for. Sorry about the quality of the picture, it was taken many years ago, before digital cameras.
