How Do I Travel With A Tiered Cake

I was just wondering how u would transport a 3-tiered cake because I am making my friends wedding cake and im taking it to Vegas for her wedding. Whats the best way to transport it???

By the time I'm done with any of my tiered cakes, they are "tired", too. HaHa! I don't know if you did that on purpose or not, but it just brightened my spirits a bit.

Anyway...on to your real question...if you can transport the tiers separately and then assemble onsite, that would be your safest option. If not, try to use hidden pillars to assemble your cake because they are very solid and will travel well. Also, make sure to place all cakes on a flat non-slip surface in your vehicle. I have a minivan so I place shelf-liner down on the bottom of my cargo area and then place the tiers or cakes on that. Then, drive carefully, trying not to make drastic speed changes or sharp turns.
