Help Cake Balls Taste Like Dough

OK GUYS I THOUGHT I WOULD TRY THE CAKE BALLS MENTIONED ON CC DONT KNOW WHAT I DID WRONG I MUST OF ADDED TO MUCH LIQUID CREAMER, BUT IT WAS LIKE EATING DOUGH, ARE THESE SUPPOSE TO BE LIKE CAKE TEXTURE, HELP I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A BATCH,

When I did mine for the first time I added to much liquid too and they didnt seem right.. I think that is the problem. To much liquid from what I understand we should just add enough to make them stick together.. Dont give up Im not.

Thanks for your info, i will have some left over cake this week im making 2 sheet cakes for a baby shower and will try them again this time im just squeezing them till they stick and not add to much liquid
