I see pictures of these great cupcakes with what appear to be totally straight sides. My pan, and most that I've seen, slope outward toward the top. I'd love a pan with straight sides.

Does anyone know where I can find one? Or should I even care?

I use paper fruit and nut cups (souffle cups) or sometimes panettone cups for cupcakes. These have straighter sides and do not need a muffin pan for baking as they stand on their own.

I use tuna cans with large muffin papers . . . this gives you a larger "cupcake" that has straight sides. I've done individual cakes this way for bridal showers and wrapped ribbon around the side with generous frosting piped with a large star tip. Very classy! I wish I would learn how to load photos into this site so you could see how it looks.

I love using the "nut and party" cups for cupcakes, they look so tidy and sophisticated!

Anyone else use different things for cupcakes?
