I live in Denver (5,280ft) and have forgotten before and haven't noticed much difference at all. But it may depend on the cake mix, too. I mostly use Duncan Hines but I'm sure they're all about the same.

Where do you live ???

I am thinking it will be on the flat side...did you watch the 'Cookie Challenge' on food network? The were in CO (high elevation) and so the contestants had to remember to make the adjustments for their recipes...some forgot and their cookies didnt rise.

Yes, I definitely have problems with cookies when I forget high altitude ingredients......but again, haven't noticed a huge difference with a cake. HTH

Glad it looks okay. I hope it tastes good, too.
