I have some FBCT that I wanted to place on the sides of a cake covered in fondant rather than BC. Will they stay in place or will the cake have to be covered in BC only? I'm worried that they will slide off. Is there a chance that they will or do they normally stay put?

I don't know. I'd also be concerned that they would slide. Hopefully someone else can answer.

I'm not sure about the sticking part but if your transfer needs to bend around the side of a round cake it will break when frozen. I guess it depends on how large your transfers are.
