I want to buy a photo editing software package that will allow me to put frames and muted backgrounds on my photos. What do y'all use? Would you please post some examples of pictures you have done using different software?

Thanks,
Sandra

The full version of PhotoShop is the best software for this use. However...it's expensive and complicated. Adobe also makes PhotoShop Elements, which is less than $100 and has a lot of neat features (although not everything the full version has.) I would recommend this version to get started. If you love it, you can upgrade.

In my real job, I am a graphic & communications designer. I have used PhotoShop every work day for 7 years. I still get stuck! And I still think PhotoShop is pure magic!

Thanks ChefCJ for the input. I'll go online and check it out.
