The food network channel has started this new show called Ace Of Cakes. It is so awesome. I was just wondering if anyone was addicted to it like me?

I have only seen him on the cake contests they have done. I haven't had the chance to see the show. I'm usually already asleep by that time as I get up at 5:00 in the morning to get ready for work. I keep forgetting to record. I would love to see it!!!!!!!! He is just sooooooooo awesome!!!!!! Love to watch him.

I love the show anything to do with cakes just gets me.I love duff and his insane personality,he creates some of the most beautiful works of art that I've ever seen.

I would love to have that type of working
enviorment. THe show is great.
I love the fact of the wood shop in the bakery.

I loved the show and how he really gave credit to the people he has working for him. Then I watched him make a cake for his dad's birthday and was amazed not just with the cake, but how great he was with his little brother! I work every day with little kids and you don't often find adults so patient and kind with them when they are facing lots of deadlines!

Is it really going away for good? If it is than that is a bunch of crap! I would rather see Ace of Cakes than some of the other dumb shows on food network. Plus, I totally love Geoff the fondant guy!

She posts under "charmcitycakes". There is a very long thread about the show also in the "general" forum. I can't believe that there are only 2 shows left....I think for the most part people love the show. I know I look forward to it!

DVR is the only way to go! I love his cakes and the idea to us rice krispies for parts that would not work out of cake is genius! DH wonders how he gets away with sawdust in the shop as far as health dept go.

I love the show. You know if you watch closely you can pick up quite a few tips. I Tivo'd all the episodes and watch them back.

I keep missing the show. icon_cry.gif By time I get the kids to bed, the kitchen cleaned and everything together for the next day there is the "Oh S--t" I missed the show. icon_cry.gif I am going to try my best to remember this week.

I can't wait to see what he comes up with each week!! I think his show should be longer then 1/2 hr though....he's totally creative and has a great team and great vision!
I too DVR the show (with a 14mth old I'm in zzzz's land when he airs here) I even got my DH liking the show! He's totally supportive of my "hobby" and loves to help out or just sit and watch the cake challenges and definitely Duff.
